Head of Shariah Research and Studies Unit

Summary:
We are looking for a Head of Shariah Research and Studies Unit who will be responsible for overseeing all Shariah-related research and studies within our organization. The ideal candidate should be a Shariah graduate and possess a strong background in Islamic banking.

Job Responsibility:
- Lead and manage the Shariah Research and Studies Unit, ensuring all activities align with Shariah principles and guidelines.
- Conduct in-depth research on Shariah-related topics and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the organization's Shariah compliance and ensure all products and services adhere to Islamic principles.
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate Shariah requirements into new products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in Shariah laws and regulations to ensure compliance at all times.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Shariah studies or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in Shariah research and studies, preferably in the field of Islamic banking.
- Strong proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of Islamic finance principles and Shariah compliance regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with stakeholders.
