Job Description
JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
To maintain and enforce project management governance, monitor and control transformation initiatives
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Enterprise Project Management Governance:
- Achieve Organizational Project Management Maturity by adopting international best practices of project management
- Standardize Organizational Project Management Processes and Templates
- Enforce continuous Improvements of Project Management Standards
- Ensure that all changes are managed via an approved process and no changes are implemented without approval
- Promote that all projects are formally planned with approved Project Management Plans
Projects Monitoring and Controlling:
- Oversee Riyad Bank projects execution
- Provide management support and guidance to program me managers and project leaders, managing change and issue control processes, analyses risks and prepare contingency plans
- Ensure that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained by the project managers, with tracking of all activities against the plan, and providing regular, accurate update to senior management
- Set regular checks for the team to conduct an independent review of the Implementation Portfolio, by monitoring the progress to ensure programs/projects objectives are delivered on time and within budget, and business results are realized
- Prepare regular feedback to Management on the levels of adherence to the agreed processes and governance Follow-up closely with PMs on execution and performance
- Act as the custodian of the Projects/Program/CRs management methodology, governance and standards creation and enhancement
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedure, timely and cost-effective execution of all projects/programs
- Conduct a regular check that Risk, and Issue Management is carried out on all projects
- Conduct a regular check that all projects are reported in an approved and standard format
- Ensure that all projects that are behind schedule and budget are reviewed for improvement
- Ensure that the lessons learned are stored and improvements made from these into the methodologies
Project Management Tools:
- Monitor the process and content in the automation and archiving tools
- Build and maintain the Enterprise Project Management Tools to support Project Managers in their day to day activities
Safety, Quality & Environment:
- Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude
Related Assignments:
- Undertake any other related duties or tasks as directed and required by the Bank
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Management, MIS, or Project Management
Minimum Experience:
6-8 years of experience in project management
Language:
English: Native or fluent
